About the work
The observation of light and light phenomena translated into the application of colour pigment as exploration, informing the process of colour application as well as the outcome. The creation of each piece is an experience of discovery, only sensing the point of completion.
The dynamic relationship between abstract form and colour: the form receding, enabling perception of colours and their relationship, at the same time revealing a space beyond, a way through.
These silkscreen prints are created by multiple ink applications, some with up to 30 coatings to arrive at the mesmerising halation of these colour circles. All prints are made using oil-based medium and added pigment, printed on handmade paper or gesso panels prepared by the artist.
Limited edition prints are available as framed or unframed prints.
